Musah Sidelined with Muscle Injury

Midfielder missed goalless draw with Genoa

Yunus Musah's recent muscle injury has dealt a blow to AC Milan's tactical plans. He missed the draw against Genoa over the weekend and possibly the upcoming match against Verona on Friday. The 22-year-old American international, a key figure in Paulo Fonseca's lineup, suffered the setback during training, creating an unexpected challenge for the Rossoneri.

Musah has been instrumental in Milan's recent performances, particularly in his role as a right wingback and at right midfield. The timing couldn't be more inopportune for Milan. Already struggling with a mixed Serie A campaign that has them sitting eighth in the table, the team is now dealing with multiple injury concerns. Christian Pulisic is also sidelined with a calf muscle tear, leaving Milan without both of their U.S. National Team players.

Musah is expected to undergo further medical tests to determine the full extent of his injury. The potential absence from the Verona match could prove significant for a team looking to climb the Serie A standings.
